About Ignite Change and About Me!

Ignite Change is a social initiative to encourage all Australians to be more cautious in their actions this bushfire season.

More than 50% of bushfires are caused through reckless human activity – THIS HAS TO STOP.

This blog is a voice for all those who have suffered from the devastation of bushfires, to tell their story, and to ignite change in Australians to be safer this bushfire season.

So why me? I lost my home in Merimbula to a bushfire 2 years ago. The hardship my family and I (particularly my Mum) have endured since then has been upsetting to say the least. I want to help other families and the public alike to be more bushfire ready and safer this bushfire season.

    Our thoughts go out to all those who have been affected by the bush fires. Let’s hope bush fires are at a minimum this year and everybody remains safe!
